can you take vit c effervescent whilst pg I am coming down with something and wondering about taking one but unsure?? I know I could just sit and eat a load of oranges but I just don't fancy them

I don't know just not taken anything...maybe having a dim moment feel embarrassed now just looking at the tub and there's nothing particular in them doh...sorry

This is a perfectly normal vitamin C supplement and fine. Most of us don't get enough at any time.

Actually vitamin C has been given to many pregnant women in major trials and studies and has been shown to protect against premature birth and may help prevent pre-eclampsia.
