private early scans - richmond upon thames area?

Hi all,

I'm 5 weeks pg with dc2 (also had mmc last sept at 12 weeks) and would like to think about an early scan this time around. I know there's no guarantee that we'll get past 12 weeks this time, even if we see the bean at an earlier stage. However, I'd like to have an early scan anyway as it will make the long wait to 12 weeks abit more bearable.

Any recommendations for clinics for early scans in the richmond upon thames area??

Hi magic sorry to hear of your loss last year and congratulations on this pregnancy.

We had a similar situation - had a MMC at 13 weeks last year and I'm now 14 weeks pregnant - we had an early scan at 9 weeks because I wanted to know if there was anything in there or not, I was really worrying after our disappointment the first time. Any earlier than that, I don't think you can always see HB etc, and that would have worried me, so we waited until 9 weeks.

We used Baby Premier on Harley Street, I think it was about £95 so not cheap, but at the time it was worth every penny.

Thanks all! Its useful for know about St Georges at Tooting, I wish more hospitals offered the same service. I may book one now for when I think I'll be 8 weeks, to give me the reassurance that I want.
