Pins & Needles??

Im 15 weeks pregnant with my first DC so this is all new to me!
Recently, probably for the last couple of weeks or so, I have been waking up with pins & needles in both arms and hands - so much so that its a bit painful and takes some wriggling of my fingers to get them feeling better and 'working' again. I dont think its because I've been lying on them (like you might call a 'dead arm') as it happens in both arms and I generally am asleep on my back or side with arms out of the way.
I just wondered if anyone else had this and if it was linked to being pregnant at all or just a weird coincidence?!
Also, aside from that, Im waking up with a really dry mouth too which is quite unpleasant as well! I know I should b drinking more water but I just dont feel like it!!
Any advice would be greatly appreciated, thanks!!

Yes I get this too, although this is my 4th pregnancy and the first time I have noticed it. It is worse when I put my hands under my head but also happens when I am sleeping on my back. Mainly if my hands are on top of my body. If they are laying by my sides it doesn't tend to happen so I assume it is them being higher than my body that causes it. No idea whether it is cause for concern though

Scrub that google.... carpal tunnel in pregnancy.

Yes, sounds like carpal tunnel. Ask to see a physio -- I got braces to sleep in at night that help (not a cure, but much better than without the braces).

I get it too and I find that applying pressure to the acupressure spots on my forearms really helps.
You can find the right spots on google too!
