I applied for a great job a few weeks ago. I like where I currently work but my flexible working was refused last year and I am desperate to work pt for at least the next 2 years.
So, the good news, I've been told that I have an interview on Friday. It is for the whole day and will involve a fair bit of preparation.
The bad news, I'm booked in for ELCS in 2 weeks (so you can imagine I am hugeeely pregnant at the mo), have a toddler running round my ankles and am thinking "will I cope with the day?" as I haven't been at work for a while due to back problems.
Then if I do get the job I'll have to sort out maternity leave with my current employer, go back to work earlier than I wanted to but I would have a part time job-being so hormonal is not helping my logical thoughts. All I want to do is enjoy being with my toddler and put my feet up (whilst eating cake) not go for a job interview and try to wow 'em.
Please tell me I should go and it'll be alright......
