Haha, seriously, my cravings for chocolate, especially Mars Bars is getting out of control! Its forcing me to eat fruit out of guilt while i have one, everytime, haha.
I can see this leading onto cakes.

I blame my baby for making me eat so much chocolate - when I have a Galaxy Bubble egg, she kicks like crazy so if it's her favourite food, I have to eat loads of them, don't I? Grin

it would be mean not to i think, considering it's her favourite food! mine loves crisps so i must eat some everyday. i was over the moon yesterday. i read a bbc news clip that chocolate could give you a happy baby. not sure how true it is but it was enough for Me to ram a few more celebrations in my mouth while doing alittle sit down dance :-D

I had to have a Twix every day when I was having DS. He's a sunny wee chap Grin

I have to have a bit of chocolate everyday or I get grumpy haha! DH keeps me well supplied with it :)

SwivelHips · 18/03/2012 13:46

I might need to rethink my strategy. I have a packet of snack a jacks every day, no wonder I'm a miserable cow. I had a packet of maltersers last night, doesn't even scratch the sides though.

I have to at least 3 bananas everyday.wish it was chocolate :( tastes better! I hated bananas pre pregnancy! But this baby LOVES them! I eat chocolate and get nothing from it except feels sicky!

Me too, but think I may have gestational diabetes so have cut sugar, until at least after the GTT. Small amounts of very dark chocolate are doing the trick.

surfmama · 18/03/2012 21:46

hmmm i too had cut sugar just cooking with honey and having dark choc at night, but yesterday i fancied a really good milk choc, so ate a small bar of sainburgs milk choc, then stopped at tesco on way home and got some organic high percentate milk choc number, anyway long and short of it...felt like complete shit this morning! shaky, headache, sicky blurgh...never never again. have had veg and cooked fruit today and some toast and that's it. poor body. hope i have learnt lesson! have bloods on thursday too so hope my sugar rush has subsided by then!

pixiepud · 18/03/2012 22:24

i was off all sugar things at the beginning but for the past few weeks all i want is chocolate! i feel guilty but common sense says abit of crap won't do any harm.

hmmm well i love a cake, but using honey and spelt and they are turning out well so far! crisps for me at the mo, and i hae noticed over the years sugar and me aren't best friends so only in moderation (most of the time!)

capecath · 19/03/2012 08:20

pixiepud exactly the same! Was all about the savoury at the beginning now it is all about the chocolate... aaahhh!!

Flisspaps · 19/03/2012 08:57

The sugar is good for staving off morning sickness (a MW advised me to keep Mars bars handy because often it's down to low blood sugar)

If you're craving it though, apparently it's the iron that your body is after, I've certainly noticed after taking an iron supplement regularly that I 'need' less chocolate Smile
