Yes. I crumpled over telling dh about an email. A work email, not exactly a tear-jerker.

I was a fountain. Dh just looked embarrassed and gave me a manly pat on my shoulder Hmm

Oh, and an episode of CSI New York. I think Mac looked sad and pensive Blush

missingmymarbles · 16/03/2012 17:40

laughed out loud at your dh's manly pat katie Grin mine just looked blankly at me and sort of sniggered when i said i didn't know why it was happening!

I cried because I could smell my mums perfume on my dd I see my mum all the time!!
and most of the time I cry over absloutly nothing at all!!

Catsycat · 16/03/2012 18:16

I was describing the John Lewis Christmas TV ad to DH a couple of weeks before Christmas, and just broke down. DH looked at me aghast for second, then nearly wet himself laughing.

BellaCB · 16/03/2012 21:27

We moved into a new house when I was 32 weeks, which sent already hormonal me over the edge... One day, about 3 weeks before DD was due, I had an absolute sobbing, coughing, hysterical breakdown over the fact we didn't have a chest of drawers in the bedroom. A chest of drawers. Sod's law that was the exact moment the midwife turned up for my appointment Blush

justlemonade · 17/03/2012 07:45

I have cried during pregnancy because we had no ketchup for my bacon sandwich!

farmerswifey · 17/03/2012 08:38

You know those 'Meerkat' adverts; the one where it looks like the lighter coloured meerkat might be loosing his job and his bottom lip starts to quiver? - gets me EVERY TIME Blush

LoopyLa · 17/03/2012 08:46

I'm also not a cryer generally - not even at funerals!

But at 7 wks, despite having watched Pretty Woman acbillion times, on this occasion I bawled my eyes out...pathetic Blush

And then watching Calendar Girls a few days later! Shock

I need to get. a. GRIP Grin

I cried reading an article in the times about the woman who invented Spanx. Also cried today over the article about Melanie Sykes having a child with autism. At least that one is more understandable. The Spanx one is just weird. Maybe I was just ao grateful that Spanx exist.

nenehooo · 17/03/2012 09:11

Haha midgetm... I was just about to come on and warn everyone not to watch Up under ANY circumstances... and also Sister Act - bawled my eyes out at the bit where they first sing in the Church with Whoopie. Hid it from DH though, he would've mocked me Grin

Hi there missingmymarbles

Monday morning I cried driving to work, was listening Dance with my Father song on MAgic. Had to pull myself together and apply more makeup to face the day

VaricellaZooster · 17/03/2012 13:30

I seem to be having a massive surge of hormones at the moment and I can currently be found either ranting about random subjects with pregnancy related anger or weeping over nothing.

This morning I cried because the electric kept tripping out and instead of finding what was causing it I stood at the fuse board crying and repeatedly turning it back on. I too need to get a grip :o

Justlemonade crying because you have no ketchup is completely understandable Grin

FreshwaterPlimpies · 17/03/2012 13:41

Oh farmerswifey.. that meerkat:(

Blubbered because I couldn't get comfy last night then cried even more when I realised I still have a few weeks to go and it won't get any better.

Cried on a walk because I was actually worrying about being too happy.

blackoutthesun · 17/03/2012 13:44

i remember crying because a mug was the wrong colour

ProlificYoungGentlemenBreeder · 17/03/2012 15:45

DP remembered the mothers day presents in the boot of the car and made me jump by asking me not to open the boot.

That was it for me, buckets of tears!

Zay04 · 17/03/2012 15:57

ha ha...love this thread. I remember at the begining of pregnancy, I cried when my hubby left the house for a couple of hours. I knew where he was going, and what time he was going to come back, but oh my I balled my eyes out.

justlemonade · 17/03/2012 16:38

Ha ha ha blackout That is my kind of crying!

Clandy · 17/03/2012 19:18

Majorly embarrassingly I cried in front of one of my pupils parents because her mum was concerned she didn't have any friends at school.
