Scan tomorrow....scared

Hey everyone. Been getting early scans as I have previous had 3 mc's. I am blessed with 2dc :) I am either 8 and a half weeks pregnant or just over 9 weeks. Getting another early scan tomorrow, the last one before my 12 week scan and I'm terrified. The latest I have lost my babies at was 8 weeks. So I'm petrified. . 2.30pm tomorrow is when I have my scan. Still having very string symptoms and belly huge for ths stage, but then, it is dc3

Good luck from me as well caija. I can understand this is a difficult situation. I had a MMC at 13 weeks, detected at a later scan, and have recently fallen PG again. I was so frightened at my 12 week scan I was crying and my DH had to pretty much shove me through the door. No advice really, but just wanted to empathise as I was so petrified as well. All I can say is try and be strong and lean on those around you, and remember the odds are massively in your favour that everything will go ok for you. I hope that once you get beyond the point where you've had painful losses before, you can become more relaxed. That's happened to me - thankfully. Let us know how you get on.

oh good luck from me too, I would imagine that the hospital staff see nervy mums to be all the time, they'll be well used to it :)

Hi all, well I'm beside myself with worry. Sad ty for all ur replies. It means a lot Smile beans, I am so sorry for yr loss, mumatron, I'm so sorry you've bn there too Sad I had a miscarriage at 5 weeks followed by a mmc which I found out about at my 12 week scan Sad the baby had died at week 8 Sad I already had my dd before my mc's, she is nearly 11, she was around 3 when I had my first two mc's. Then when she was 5 I fell pregnant with my ds, 5 who has severe special needs. He has came so far Smile and when ds was 9 months old I fell pregnant again resulting in another mmc, even saw the heartbeat at week 6 after I had a fall... Went back for a scan a week or two later and the baby had no heartbeat. So I dread scans Sad

good luck !
i to HATE scans having a MMC to find out at my 12 week scan the baby's heart beat had stopped at 9 weeks .
i now wont look at the screen till DH tells me its safe too .
now 7 weeks 6 days and waiting for my early scan appointment .

Good luck, I've also been in that situation too and I know how terrifying it is when you are just about to have a scan. Will be lurking for good news from you this afternoon - hope everything looks great on the scan. When you get in there, take a deep breath, turn away from the viewing screen and just find a spot on the wall/ceiling to focus on.

Aww madas n kitandkat :( so sorry to hear of your losses too :( I'm terrified. Feel awful today. So dizzy and been sick Sad kitandkat that is EXACTLY what I do when I get a scan. Feel like I can't breathe :( I have been going on my own to my scans as I just can't let DF come yet, I feel I wanna deal with it on my own til I'm past the danger period..soo hard

Oh I think you should take your DF with you today, it's not something you should be going through on your own. Especially not having to drive yourself to the hospital.

He is picking up his ds at the time I'm going to the scan. Don't drive, Gettn a taxi to the hospital. Trust me kitandkat, I'm used to it

I had 2 dc before having my mc's so I do know how your feeling. I had 4 mc then had my dd2.
