If you had an ELCS with your first, and you want one with your second, when do they give you the option and book it in?

A friend of mine last year knew her c section date about 6 months in advance!! (She was private though, if that makes a difference.)

Do you think I'll get pressure about going for a Vbac? Can they refuse me a C Section?

Thanks everyone.

I am 21 weeks and they booked mine on this tuesday gone.
I was quite shocked aswell, actually asked them twice, 'so it will be booked today? you mean i will know when my baby will be coming,,, today' Grin

I won't ever be able to physically have babies the natural way, so i didn't get asked about a vbac.
They can't refuse you i believe, but if they aren't willing to take your choice seriously, you can ask for a 2nd consultants opinion, who will by nice guidelines give you a section.

I had the choice with my second baby as to whether I wanted a section or natural. I picked natural and ended up with section!

Third time round, there was no choice!
