So basically my ribs kill...from my back all the way round to my front. I'm 34 weeks and obviously its going to get worse then better . baby is already very low down so why are my ribs hurting me SO much!!my upper body, well legs aswell to be honest lol, aren't very tall so that doesn't help. I feel as though I am being completely squished!

Could your baby be breech? One way or another, I promise it'll be much better very soon after your baby is born

Oh I had this from about the same stage in my pregnancy to when he was born - my biggest memory from DS' birth is thinking thank goodness the pain in my ribs had stopped. He was 9lb 5oz so quite big, so maybe you've got a big un in there.

Also I went up from a 34 to a 36 in bra sizes afterwards.

I remember being told that during your third trimester your ribs actually expand to create more room in your ribcage as the baby gets bigger. So, hopefully very soon your ribs will give you a bit more space in there!

I had shocking rib pain - DD was breech and kept sort of pushing her head into my ribcage, stamping on my cervix to do so. Ouch!

Sitting upright at a desk made it even worse. I spent a lot of time lying on the floor, stretching my arms over my head and taught classes slumped in a chair with my feet up on another chair. Good luck!

(The pain did stop immediately when she was born, if that helps.)

Oh, the dreaded rib flare - it is utter misery! I did pregnancy yoga and found that leaning back slightly (sit on the floor, lean back on your arms) and breathing deeply opens out your ribs - that helped a bit, as did one of those microwavable heat packs... it didn't go away until DS arrived though I'm afraid! Hang in there!!

Thankyou all,, I sit at a desk at college all day thursday and friday which kills me!! Their agony! I don't think he's going to be big, well my first was 7Ib 14. And my bumps smaller this time. But god knows it hurts so much! I have gone from a bra 32 to 34s being tight!!
