I saw a size L bra on sale somewhere the other day, so I think we'll all be OK really!
Sorry my "they never went back down" comment seems to have scared a couple of people. Didn't mean to
.
Honestly, I have no problem with my bra size - I actually like it. I have always been curvy, even in my slim younger days - still had hips, bum, boobs, a rounded tummy, IYSWIM. I also have wide shoulders, so my boobs balance those out a bit! Of course, I now have a 2 CS belly (waiting for a third), and wish I didn't, but that is something I can work on... and I will, honestly! I actually hope I don't lose my boobs if I lose weight.
It's true that not all clothes suit all body types, but that goes for people who are slim as well as more curvy, busty, whatever. Without going all Gok Wan / Trinny & Susanna, I do think all body shapes can look fantastic with the right clothes - a lot of it is working out what suits you, and accepting that it can change over time. This is a bit of a hobby horse for me - I was a designer / dressmaker before the DC sent me on an extended maternity leave, so I'm used to designing things to suit and fit different women.
Right now, we're pg, so our bodies are kind of doing their own thing - scary, but IMO best to just go with it and not beat ourselves up. Pity about the expenditure on new bras though, and obviously discomfort in that area is no joke, so my sympathies to anyone with sore boobs!
