Am I imagining that I can feel these? I know that BHs start very early on, but are imperceptible, but I am SURE I can feel them. Am I bonkers? There's no pain, just squeezing Confused

Had BH from about 14 weeks with DS2, was sick of them by the time he arrived but he did come in an hour and a half so maybe they helped?

I think so! I'm pg with dc2 and early on we were out with ds in a museum and I swear I could feel them. I must have been about 15 weeks if that.

I get BH from early on too so that probably is what you're feeling. In fact I seem to get them early on, then they tail off during mid pregnancy and come back again nearer the end.

ps I actually found it quite reassuring as you can feel how big your uterus is, and notice it growing over the weeks...

I have them too - currently 15+4 with DC2. There is no mistaking what they are I had so many towards the end with DC1. Freaked me out a bit to begin with until I realised what was happening. It just feels like I need to catch my breath and I can feel the tightening in my abdomen. If I press the area I can feel the top of the uterus - it is very interesting to be able to feel where it is Smile

I had no idea they could happen so early, I asked my midwife about it and she shrugged and said "your body knows what its doing this time around" Not entirely helpful but Dr google reliably informs me that braxton hicks can start this early its just that we know what the sensation is this time around!
