Wow mumof4, congratulations on No. 5! I am sure someone will be along to be more helpful, but, for what its worth, I experienced exactly the same symptoms early on and now, coming up to Week 25 of pregnancy, things are going just fine! From what I have read, it seems to be a fairly normal state of affairs, and every baby seems to bring their own unique set of aches and pains! Best of luck

I turned 7 weeks on Saturday and had exactly as you describe for around 36 hours over the weekend. It's so worrying isn't it?!

Up until I was about 12 weeks pregnant, I constantly felt as if I was about to start my period...achy lower tummy and back, period pain cramps etc. I didnt have any bleeding, but totally thought I was about to! At 26 wks pregnant, baby is totally fine! I think lots of pople get theses pains in the first few months, its just everything stretching out. No worries x

I had this at week 6 when I saw my GP, and she said it was entirely normal and should only cause concern if it was accompanied by bleeding - hth :)
