Curious about baby gender dreams

Just a bit of fun - but did anyone have very strong dreams during PG that their baby was a particular gender? And did they turn about to be correct?

I'm only 13w PG so ages to go, but almost every night I am dreaming that I have a baby girl - wondered if there might be anything in it!

No idea about dreams.

But if you've had your 12 week scan and have a picture, look up the nub theory. It shows how to decipher the sex.

Not completely 100% accurate, but was correct with me and 4 other mums that used it. Don't know anyone it was wrong for!

4 other mums I know-not just 4 other mums!

If you do it let us know what sex it shows Wink

Nub theory sounds interesting boys - will have a google now and let you know!

Just had a look - the scan picture I've got with me isn't that clear, but looks like the nub points much less than 30 degrees, which seems to suggest girl. Am going to have a look at the other scan pics when I get home from work!

When i poas and it was positive, i automatically thought, it's a girl, and then got convinced by everyone else over the next few weeks that i was probably a boy, but around 12-13 weeks pregnant I had a dream that my favourite aunty knocked on my door and when i opened it she was there with a card held up saying, 'congratulations it's a girl!'

Im not 21 weeks and it was confirmed 98% a girl at 19+6.
I wish i had just trusted my instincts as i haven't thought about girl names that much and am now struggling to think of one i love, but had the perfect boy name picked out.

When I was pg first time round, I thought I wanted a girl but had a dream at about 13 weeks pg that the baby was a boy - it was very vivid and stuck with me. So from that day, I was convinced it was a boy and got used to the idea so when it came to the 20 week scan, I actually would have been disappointed it the sonographer had said it was a girl...she didn't - it was DS1 Grin

I had a weird dream with my first baby that I myself actually had a willy!! No kidding one of the weirdest dreams I ever had. I thought maybe it means I am having a boy, but no she was a girl.

I've got another 14 weeks or so to go before I can confirm but in all of mine and OH's dreams the baby has been female. Before all this I'd been sure the baby was male.

I was convinced our baby was a boy from the moment I took the pregnancy test. Whenever I thought or dreamt about the baby it was a boy. I had it confirmed at a scan 100% definitely a boy.

With DC1, we were convinced the whole way through that we were having a boy. Then with about two months to go, I had three different dreams that I had a girl. I knew from then that we were having a girl and was right.

With DC2, I had a completely different pregnancy, and thought it might be a boy. Again, towards the end, I had a dream that we had a boy. Didn't allow myself to believe it too strongly as I only had the one dream. I was right again.

Currently pregnant with DC3 but have had dreams both ways! As we know for sure there's only one in there, we'll just have to wait and see this time :)

I had the same as Florin with DC1 - from first thing, I knew it was a boy, even ahd a scan at 17 weeks where the Dr said it was a girl and I refused to believe her - then at the 20 week scan there was a pretty obvious sign that we were having a boy. And growth scan at 36 weeks showed a fairly obvious scrotum too :o he's 2.5 now and there is no doubting his gender!!

currently pg with DC2, and 3 different sonographers have said it's a girl (i.e. no winkle visible on scans). I had an inkling that it was a girl, but nowehre near the certainty I had with DS. In most of my dreams baby was a girl too, but that was before the insomnia kicked in, so not had many dreams since about 6 weeks pg :o we shall see in June though!
