I have suffered with constipation for most of my life.
I'm roughly 5-6 weeks pregnant and I'm going more! Still need the lactulose but this is normal yeah to go more?
I'm sure in my previous pregnancies I did but I'm fretting!

Sorry, google wasn't so helpful!

Thank you Blush

I have IBS and was wonderfully regular during my pregnancies. BF was regular as clockwork, and had constant poos when pregnant. I think the hormones do different things to different people

Relax - all sounds normal to me!

Thank you both! I think I possibly have IBS billy.
Jaylee- you are the first person to congratulate me! Congratulations to you!

Ok I'll cross that one off the worry list!

I am 6 weeks today and definitely more regular, despite being on progesterone!

It's to do with the pregnancy hormones. As well as allowing for the changes to the pregnant body, progesterone, oestrogen etc are responsible for smooth muscle contraction too. As the levels of these hormones are increased in pregnancy you can find yourself exercising your bowels and bladder more
