Just want to vent really. Only 23 weeks but the front bottom of my rib cage is so sore already, especially the right hand side. I remember having similar with previous pregnancies but not this early, but then my belly does seem much larger too this time, hope it doesn't last for the whole pregnancy now! Anyone else suffering?

Hi puzzletree! I got this in both my previous pgs, and have just had a few niggles with it this time. Ironically, was just starting to think "ow my ribs" when I saw your post.... Hope it's all going well apart from that!

Oh God yes. I'm 29+2, and it's impossible to find a bra that doesn't feel like a steel band around my ribs at the end of the day; I've gone up from a 34 to a 40 and it still hurts! Doesn't seem to be more on one side than the other particularly, just all over :(

Every so often though, the bump will shift and suddenly my ribs will open up and I'll be able to breathe properly for a minute, it's such a relief when that happens!

Ooh glad it's not just me.
Hi Catsy :). I think I just have a short torso or something. If it wasn't the ribs it'd be my pelvis (and no doubt that'll kick in at some point!) so I shouldn't really complain, but it's the fact that there's still so long to go that's making me nervous!! And yes Nella, I keep thinking my bra's too tight, but then even bra-less it's so sore especially by the end of the day.
Thanks all for indulging my moan. Apart from that everything's great :)

No problem! I do think the osteopath I've been going to has helped this time, as my ribs aren't quite as bad (mine is more on the right too BTW), and she has really sorted out my pelvis so I have no pain at all most days. I was really sceptical about osteopathy at first, but it's been brilliant!
