The waiting game...So impatient

Howdy,
Went for my 12 week scan last week which was AMAZING however the sonographer (sorry is this right) said I was more like 11 weeks - which matched my dates as I have/had a irregular cycle. Got my letter yesterday which said next scan is 22nd March when I'll be more like 13 weeks. I AM SO EXCITED TO SEE BUMP AGAIN!!!!!! But also seems like a lifetime, dunno how I'll last between this and the 20 week scan haha :o

Also at the scan I found watching my partners face just as amazing as watching my little bean kicking about...anyone else find this?

How is everyone else managing? It must be amazing if your further on and only a few weeks till you actually get to meet your little bambino :)

Awwww that first scan is fantastic, you don't believe anyone is in there till you see them do you lol

I loved my partners reaction aswell, i could hardly see the screen after they showed me the heartbeat and he got the full show and was going on about it all night, i was jealous lol

The waiting game doesn't get any easier, i was thrilled after my second scan then i had a 4D one at 30 weeks as i couldn't wait another ten weeks to see my little girl again, i'm 35+5 now and counting down the days until i'm due i'm so excited my life is literally on hold waiting for her!

Yeah mine was the same - he turned the screen around a couple of times but that was it. MY DP said it was kicking up a storm and couldnt believe I couldnt feel it! It really is funny - keep looking at the photo thinking WOW!

I cant wait to go out and start getting stuff ready - nursery, clothes etc but dont want to tempt fate so will wait until we've had the 20 week scan I think. I bet by the time im at your stage Millystar i'll be desperate haha - your totally right its waiting for your new life as a family to start, not long for you now :)

TBH I was indifferent about finding out, I hadnt really thought about it till DP said he defo didnt he wanted the surprise so I've gone with that and am happy to. I did suggest the other day trying some of the old wives tails which could be quite entertaining!

I am bored of waiting. I've got only got 6 weeks to go before we get to meet the baby, which I'm very glad about.

What I found the hardest was knowing that the 20 week scan was the last scan I would have as I've had no complications that require further scans, and I can't afford to pay for another one. The last time I saw the baby, it small enough to fit in your hand, and now it's pretty much fully grown!

I wouldnt even know where to begin booking a private scan, but yeah its money I could save as things will be tights when Im on ML.

Hopefully your 6 weeks will fly by - Im due Sept so it feels a long long way :(
