Hi all, I no there are a million hospital bag threads on here but I'm on my phone and can't find them.
I have the day off work today & am off to buy stuff for my labour bag.
Can I have a list of the things that got you through.
I'm going to focus on the baby part of the bag at the weekend but your more than welcome to add a list of baby things that need packing as well so I'm not asking again in a few days.

Thanks in advance

justhayley it's recommended that you use water and cotton wool instead of wipes as its better for newborn skin.

However, it's a sodding nightmare if you need to go and find a bowl to put the water in, get the water then return to your baby and attempt to clean tarry poo from them. Whoever recommended doing that over using wipes had probably never cleaned a newborn when actually on a postnatal ward after giving birth. There's lots of wipes without fragrance or whatever added now anyway.

You can't be stopped from using wipes - YOU are the parent, it's up to you Smile

On my third and I'ver faffed about with cool boiled water and cotton wool. i just used wiped, the huggies non scented ones. You can use them on yourself too.

I am also going to take my e reader, a little bag of makeup, small travel bottles of shampoo, conditioner, body wash and toothpaste. I just have the one bag, otherwise I think DH will loose one! Im having s section though, so dont need so much.

Some people have talked about antibacterial wipes for toilet etc. I'm not overly fussed.

Also show DH where everything is in the bag! Mine is utterly useless and gets in a bit of a tizz if asked to find something by the mW! Everything in my neatly packed bag turned upsid down. Last time the babe ended up in a really hot fleecy babygro in may.

I think I also took some lucozade glucose tablets when I did labour. They were a godsend.

Hospital notes!!!
