Eating like a pig and not putting on weight

I'm 11 weeks pg and have eaten like a pig for the past six weeks. The greedy baby wants crisps, chocolate, toast, biscuits and three big meals a day. Amazingly though, I haven't put on any weight.

Is my body working so hard to grow this baby that it's burning up all the extra calories or will the weight suddenly catch up with me. I feel it must be the latter but is that possible - where could it be hiding Confused?

I remember worrying about this, but snacking was the only thing I could do to keep nausea at bay! I didn't put on weight particularly, but my eating went back to normal during the second trimester. Also, although I did eat chocs and crisps etc, I made an effort to try and snack on carrot sticks and fruit and healthier things too (mostly to make me feel better about pigging out!)

Your wight will suddenly go up so be careful! Why don't you swap the crisps, chocolate and biscuits with fruits and vegetables.
