I am 34 + 3 with number 4 mine were
5 hours, 1hr 10 mins and 50 minutes
I am a bit panicked about number 4 lol so I have the midwife coming at the weekend to get set for a homebirth just incase I decide to labour quickly again.

Well my last one was 2 days so any improvement on that would be nice Grin

My first I was induced, and that took 24 hours...so can't really judge how fast 2nd will be can I? Hope its not too quick..or to long!

First labour was induced and 26 hours.
Second labour was not induced. The whole thing took 49 minutes, including the delivery of the placenta.

What do people class as the "start" of labour then? Because mine was 16hrs from first mild contractions, or 9hrs from waters breaking/start of stronger contractions.

BoysBoysBoysAndMe · 12/03/2012 12:43

I class it from when you realise the contractions are regular. Both times my waters were broken in hospital when I was about 6 cm dilated.

My first I woke up in the morn with them and knew straight away.

Second I had twinges from 6pm but I class the start from about 8pm when they became regular
