Not sure if this is just a bad cold or something worse but DD and I both have it and DH, who's had the flu jab, is fine

Is this risky to the baby? Do I go to the GP in the morning? I thought you weren't supposed to go to the GP with flu symptoms in case you spread it about?

Should I look out for reduced movements? argh don't know what I'm supposed to do! someone please advise as NHS Direct is on a four-hour callback...

Have you had the flu jab?

Take paracetamol 4 hourly and lots of fluids.

If you feel worse tomorrow call your GP. The fact that you think it might just be a bad cold makes me think its not flu, plus we are out of peak flu season. If you had flu you would probably knw about it

thanks mosschops

didn't bother with flu jab when I was offered, feel like a dick now

are we past peak season? that's good to know. it could just be a bad cold, we've both got high temps / shivers / aches etc but not deliriously so

totally paranoid! thanks for advice anyway
