Hi

Today i have noticed a sudden increase in v.discharge. Its sort of like milky and doesnt have a smell. I can feel it when it comes out sorry if TMI. Plus my boobs are VERY sore :( well they were this morning.
I am 36+2. I read on the net that a week or so before labour vaginal discharge will increase.......has anyone else found this.....is it something i should be worried about....
I have had 2 swabs done when I have been to clinic and they have both come back clear and I have no UTI's as have been checked for those by MW.

Any ideas ladies

i'm certainly not saying i know what it is but i would think it was just normal, what with all the hormones etc, it can cause alot more discharge than normal. If there was anything to worry about i'm sure the midwives would of picked up something :)

hello
im 36+1 and snap my discharge has really increased since friday to the.point I thought my waters had gone I felt that damp and I too can feel it coming out very horrible feeling when I wipe after a wee theres alot on the tissue and its also a milky colour no smell!!

this is baby #2 and I dont remember it this heavy before #1s arrival?!

lots of people keep saying I wont go full term I feel like my body is getting ready much earlier this time I had my dd at 39 weeks so not baby for #1.

is this #1 for you?

Emsgale · 10/03/2012 23:26

Hi Emsgale

No this is baby no 3. had DD2 at 35 weeks and have been told i have a 45% chancce of going early again. had a bit of a show last week wednesday too.
Looked like egg whites on the tissue.
I know what you mean about the dampness. Its horrible. I was in mothercare yesterday and sat down then felt 'wet' and thought my waters had gone too but then again i have been slowing leaking hind waters for weeks now :(
what is your due date...im sure ive seen you on the April thread.....im 6th april although i have a c section planned for 5th and a sweep for 22nd march!
Consultant doesnt want me to go over due to my scar being so raw.

Hi, this is normal, discharge increases as you progress through pregnancy. I went 2 nights running to the hospital's Maternal Assessment Unit at 32wks as was worried my waters had broken... but false alarm. I ended up going 8 days overdue before giving birth so no link with imminent labour -and I didn't get an increase just before labour started either.
Finally the waters would be clear not milky.
Good luck!

Snowpuma - I've never seen my waters they have broke without me knowing with both babies.
I have the joy of knowing i wont be going overdue! My friend just had a baby 12 days late weighing 10lb!!! Shock

hello riamay2011

yes im due 7th april so were a day apart!
Im being regually scanned this time due to baby being small and placenta issues so a chance they will induce early if there not happy at next scan.

wishfull thinking but I was hoping to go into natural labour at about 38 weeks lol!!

some days I feel like my due date is forever away and other days I think god im running out of time getting my dd new bedroom and big bed ready so the baby can have her little room and cot!!
