I'm 31 weeks and am beginning to accept that my maternity jeans just aren't going to see my through to the end of my pregnancy. I've been in them since about 15 weeks and bought the same size maternity jeans as I'd buy normal jeans. I've already put on 1.5 stone and have now got a large muffin top all over as well as the understandable bump at the front. My jeans feel really tight & uncomfortable, something I don't remember from my previous pregnancy when I'd put on much more weight than this. Come & cheer me up & tell me that this has happened to you too...

I went up a dress size in pregnancy and put on 5 stone. DS is 13 months and I've lost 6 stone and 2 dress sizes. Not the mummy tummy tho. Enjoy your pregnancy you're doing great!

I have 7 weeks to go and have gained 1st 7lbs to date and have gone from an 8 to a 10. Although it seems to be all baby (people are always saying how tiny I am). It is the first time in my life I have been able to enjoy food without guilt (the diet starts when baby is born) xx

Yes I've gone up a dress size!

I wouldn't worry- I put on 4.5 stone (which was half my original weight!!) when I was pregnant with ds. I lost it all and have no stretch marks or anything. He was a big ish baby 8 13 but it was an easy birth/delivery.

I went from a 10 in regular clothes to an 18 maternity!!!!!

Well, I'm going to buck the trend here; I was a 6/8 before bfp. I went up to a size 10 maternity or 16 regular at the end of pregnancy and now am pretty much a size 10. My ribcage seemed to expand and hasn't returned to it's normal size Sad

Oh and ds is 13 months now so don't think I can blame him anymore Wink

Yep, I started off as a 14, then 14 maternity, now 16 maternity and have ridiculous sized knickers and PJ bottoms Grin

I am not sure my mat jeans will at the rest if my pregnancy either.i am 26 weeks.

Yes - pre-preg I was a size 8/10 (small or extra small) and went up to a medium (size 12? in preg clothes). Wasn't madly overeating and wasn't undereating - just ate what I needed. Now back to an 8 - don't worry!

Just the one dress size? You're lucky - I have gone up two, I'd say. My maternity jeans didn't see me past 30 weeks, despite them being the most comfortable things I'd ever worn until then. Now I live in maternity trousers and leggings and tracksuit bottoms, all pushed down under my bump (so glamorous). I'm only a little further on than you, and I've ut on more than 2 stone - I've stopped weighing myself as its never good news when I step on the scales!
