Hello

Went to the midwifes yesterday, who said that on my next appt she is going to offer me a sweep. I really, really, really want to avoid that as I have a fear of internals. So any ideas on how to baby to come out? Any tips at all, am willing to try anything to avoid the dreaded sweep

You don't have to have a sweep if you don't want one!!

There are lots of threads on here about bringing on labour including lots of tips (after 2 inductions I'm a sucker for them!) but the general common sense opinion is that the baby will come out when it's ready, regardless of sweeps, sex, pineapple or anything else!

Always fun to try though
