Hi everyone,
I'm really sorry to complain here but getting really fed up and needing some words of encouragement.
I'm 12 weeks today and have had severe nausea and sickness most days since I reached about 6 weeks! I thought I was turning the corner through the week but yesterday hit hard again! I've tried the eating little and often, all the hints and tips but nothing seems to help. Yesterday I vomited 7 times (sorry TMI!) to the point last night when's here was nothing left to bring up, was just wretching!
I lost the plot, got so upset and my poor man didn't know what to do with me!
As I said in sorry to moan but it's just getting tough to cope with now....and if one more person i.e mother in law says to me that it means the bean is healthy, it's a good sign I think I'll scream! I know it is supposed to be a good sign but doesn't make coping with it any easier!

Thanks for listening to my grumbles, hope you r all keeping as well as can be expected

Xxxx

You poor thing.
This is my 3rd and am suffering quite badly but not as badly as you by the sounds of things.

Everyone I know who had horrible MS has said they tended to feel better by about 14 weeks so perhaps we only (!) Have another fortnight or so to go!

May be worth seeing your GP if you aren't keeping anything down? They have drugs!

I feel the same. I have a plastic bag beside me constantly and everything, everything, makes me feel sick. Just to compound the indignity, every time I throw up I seem to wet myself as well.

However, this pregnancy is after our third and final round of IVF and I have had 2 Sub Chorionic Hematomas and spent 4 weeks on bed rest. There was a strong possibility that we could lose the baby.

So I am so Happy to be feeling like this!!!

Thanks ladies Smile

I know I'd be worried if I wasn't having symptoms too so poor bump can't win!
Going to give it another week or so then maybe have a wee visit to the Gp! Had a bit of a nap there so not feeling quite as sorry for myself Smile

marie I'm so pleased for you! Grin lovely news, you must be so pleased!

Thanks again folks!

Xxx

WeeNurse My sister was horribly sick all through both pregnancies and I know it's a really tough time. I would really suggest trying the GP sooner rather than later - if you're not keeping anything down you can get v.dehydrated. One option (which happened to her) was a drip (just liquids, not drugs) to get her hydration levels up again.

She did end up having drugs later - trimester 2 IIRR - as was sick at least 5 times every day. Baby was born and is now 2 and totally healthy, boisterous lad, so I'd get any medical help you can!

I'm the same as you OP. I went to the doctors in the end and got tablets because it's just impossible to function.

I'm now 17 weeks and still as bad. If I forget to take a tablet all hell breaks lose. I can't even smell a toilet these days and I want to barf.

It sounds like anti emetics might be the best thing for you?

Thanks for the support folks Smile

Don't want to speak too soon but actually feeling a wee tad better today, still nauseous but nothing compared to how I have been! Hopefully I've turned a corner!

It's the worst feeling (especially for a usual food lover like myself) Confused

However if it kicks in bad again I'll be making a wee apt for the Gp!

Hope my fellow sickies begin to feel a bit better soon xxx
