It could be a sign that things are getting going, it could be that baby is in an awkward position...it could just be that you're a bit constipated!

I woke up this morning with this, and an achy lower back - both of which I've been mercifully free of thus far!

Yesterday I started on acid reflux and heartburn.

36 weeks tomorrow....

Sounds like we're having a similar time, Emsgale - although this is my first.

Emsgale it sounds like yr baby is engaged :) I am 34 +1 and baby is 4/5ths engaged I have got a twingy cervix with stabbing pains, feeling pressure in my bottom and have literally been to loo about 20 times today and still feel like I need to go lol. My energy levels are low too feeling very tired atm.
With my DS3 I carried the same ....he was 2 weeks late :( so I am not taking any of it as a sign of an early delivery !!!!! lol

Also 36 weeks tomorrow and I would agree with Willow, sounds like your baby is engaging, I have had my first major bout of nesting today, upstairs, kitchen, lounge, finally had a bath at 8.30pm and had two very strong pains that felt like the baby grinding down into my pelvis with a lot of pressure in my bottom!

This is my 4th,and none of mine have engaged until I have been in labour, I would be interested to know if that is what I am feeling too!

I wondered this as dd did not engage until labour either so this is new!? I have the midwife on tuesday and a scan on 21st march so itll be intresting to see if the baby is engaged??

I too have not been able to stop cleaning today felt like the house was filthy and I had to clean it it is gleaming now!

my dd was 7days early so hoping this one wil aso make a early apperance!? :-)

Hi, Emsgale. I'm just back from the hospital for a presentation scan for suspected breech, and they found that although he isn't breech, he is back to back.

Apparently this can cause a lot of pressure...just thought I'd mention it. :)
