Hi everyone, I'm currently pregnant with Dc3, 7+3 (going on early scans) or 8+4 (going on last period) which they've told me to go by as early scan measurements aren't certain. I have had 1 miscarriage and 2 missed miscarriages so been Gettn scanned early, saw the heartbeat last week but still petrified of miscarrying as I saw the heartbeat before in my last mmc and went back a week later and there was no
Heartbeat :(
So I'm worrying about this but I
I Am soo ill in this pregnancy :( feel sick and exhausted constantly. Also really dizzy. Have no energy. Never felt soo
Ill in any of my pregnancies. . When will it pass?! Is there anyone else feeling as bad as this? It's really getting me down :( I also have my 2 kids, dd, nearly 11 and ds, just turned 5 who has severe special needs. Thanks for any advice in advance. Also, has anyone any advice on what dates they'd go by? The scan or last period? Thanks loads

caija for lots of women, feeling horrendously sick and constantly exhausted is normal in pregnancy. I spent the first few months of both of my pregnancies either hanging over a loo or asleep! I wouldn't worry about that, but everyone is different - some women are sick all the way through, some are never sick - the exhaustion should pass by 12w though usually, and then return at the end Grin

They'll confirm your dates at the 12w scan rather than your LMP and use that date to set your EDD.

Thanks flisspaps. Love the name lol Smile
Yeah, I was sick with dd for the first 4 months but was ok with ds. This pregnancy is just a whole different thing though Grin
Yeah, 12 week scan will be accurate. My ds measured 2 weeks behind in early scan's and by 12 weeks had caught up. Strange ae? Smile

Oh love, it's horrendous. I felt like that too! TBH I think it's duration is individual to each pregnancy. With DS it lasted until I was about five months. With DD I had a period of about two weeks at around 20 weeks when I felt great but that was it. I also had an MMC which I found out about at 12 weeks and I was on the floor with that one - it was twins which explains it I think.

All I can say is that what gets you through it is attitude. I actually found DD easier to get through even though it went on for the whole pregnancy. I think that was because I'd done it before and decided just to ignore it. Instead of not eating, I ate whatever I fancied knowing full well that I'd be seeing it again! Grin. And I unashamedly had kips in the weirdest places! DS spent a lot of time being patented by the medium of CBeebies but he also had lots of lies-in and cuddles with me on my days off.

So accepting it and trying to be good humoured about it made it easier. Dreadful still, but easier.

Aww limelight ty Smile it's bloody awful!! I've never felt as bad as this before! I feel like I've been Ill for weeks, not pregnant! Grin I'm taking this as a good sign, having such strong symptoms... I think I could deal with it easier if I was past the high risk stage Sad that is constantly playing on my mind. Sorry to hear about your mmc Sad it's soo sad. I have wondered actually if I'm having twins Smile the last scan on 2nd march (ds's birthday) the midwife said 'I can only see one at the moment, but it could be hiding' and it got me thinking lol. Another scan next Friday, so I'll know then hehe. Grin
