Ok I'm 33+1, and since sunday I have been getting pretty bad braxton hicks, they are painful and my belly feels rock solid, I haven't been able to sleep, was up until 3.30 this morning till I managed to ease it off with painkillers and then woke again at 6. I am shattered. But not sure whether I should go to hospital, I'm not dilating (was as doctors on monday) the BH are very painful and can be very regular for a few hours then stop completely for a few more hours. I feel extremely nauseous and have had been a bit loose.but not severely, what do you think?struggling to settle,

Sorry, no help but you might like to know you are not alone. I'm 33 weeks too and get horrid Braxton Hicks that keep me awake at night. Not painful but the abdomen goes rock hard and stays like that for a while, making me nauseous and breathless. No idea what to do about them, except drink water as dehydration makes them worse. Will ask consultant on Monday but any advice in the meantime would be great.

Mine are quite painful at times...now to add to everything I keep getting pains in cervix and bottom of my back is KILLING me every now and again! If I have another performance tonight I do think hospital tomorrow.I've just had some dinner, glass of water and paracetamol and going to try bed. Hopeful of some sleep. I'm becoming to be like a robot!
