Ok so here we are......I am 40 + 9 I had a bloody show this morning, have had on off cramping plus back pain all day.

Dumb question but how do you tell difference between a bad cramp and a contraction?

The cramping IS your contractions!! Just gets worse! Good luck on your journey!! Keep upright and moving as much as you can - this does help!!! I walked miles round my living room and when i had to , i held onto/leant on the furniture! I went to hospital when the furniture holding wasn't helping and was 5cm - 50 minutes later - without anything but gas and air (too late for anything else!) out she popped! 6 hours total) (That was number 2) with Number 1 lying flat most of the time - too naive! - - and it was 28 hours from show to showtime! again good luck!

I wish! It all stopped! 10 days over.....

I actually believe that the time this baby comes out it will have teenage attitude and facial hair.
