What on earth is this blood?

Bloody hell, literally! There's blood in my knickers but (TMI) it's not coming from anywhere near the baby, so to speak, because I've checked. There's only a little but it's red and fresh. Do any of you lovely ladies have an idea what it could be? I don't want to phone my midwife in case I'm making a fuss over nothing and the baby's moving around a lot, as usual. I'm 30 weeks pregnant tomorrow.
Thanks in advance!

Have you wiped a bit too enthusiastically and perhaps grazed your bits?!

feekerry · 07/03/2012 15:38

piles maybe??? maybe small ones that have gone unoticed? or a small anal fissure maybe?

jaylee89 · 07/03/2012 16:01

hope you are well xx

Ha ha - thanks Picklesarnie. After doing a lot of contortion with a mirror there does seem to be a small scratch on my bits! I'll get someone to have a good look for me later Blush Grin. I have no idea how I could have done that!
No piles as yet (I hope) but that's probably something else I've got to look forward to!
I was only saying yesterday that the pregnancy has gone so well and now this happened. It put the wind up me a little but I'm glad there seems to be a simple solution. Thanks for your help!

If it's front, then a UTI - but if it's at the bleeding stage, you would likely feel it when you pee as UTI's are really uncomfortable. But you must get it checked as if they spread to kidney it's bad
