i have noticed that the baby tends to favor my right side and wondered how common this in. I don't look lopsided yet, but I am sure I will soon. Has this happened to anyone else? Did the baby eventually straighten out? Thanks!

Mine favours my left side, but occasionally I am graced with it's arse being forced upwards and waved about from left to right. DD never straightened out, nor has this one (35+6) - I don't think they do straighten out, aren't they usually either on one side or t'other right up until labour (best position being either ROA or LOA)?

They tend to curl round one side or another, lopsided is a great look Grin

My daughter is always on my right side, i saw the midwife yesterday, last time i went she was back to back and now she's oblique - basically she's diagnanol accross me her head is bottom right and her little feet are top left under my boob, my left side feels empty and my right side is always solid and i often feel/see her head sticking out my side lol the midwife said it's nothing to worry baout whatever that means! I'm 34+5

At 42+2 mine still can't make it's bloomin mind up. Mw came round yday listened to heart rate and it was on my right. Her phone rung and in the space of a 2 min phone call and her going back to having a listen she had flipped the other way!

I've forever looked lopsided. And when most maternity tops seem to be striped it just accentuates it more!!!! Lol

My little one loves to lay either across by bump (using maximum space) Down in my pelvis or on very rare occasions with his bum at the bottom of my ribs and his head tucked into me pelvis. I have given up trying to work out where he is. Last week and yesterday he sat head down and bum up all week. xx

Mines on the right too, as was DS right up until delivery. Have a photo of my bump with him a few days before he was born, and there's a huge difference between the sides Grin

Mine likes the right side as well. I definitely look lopsided now (40+2) and I always have an elbow/knee poking out my side! V weird when I have one squidgy side and one that's hard as rocks.

stripeyZ · 06/03/2012 21:59

Right side here too. He's been head down for a while & I can feel a little bum & back down the right side, especially when he get hiccups!

I'm 32+4 and my baby's always on my right side - my left side doesn't feel pregnant - although my bump isn't lop sided to look at x

I guess this is fairly normal then. I guess I should try to stop poking him to get him to move!
