34+5 tearing pain when I roll over

The last couple of nights when I've rolled onto my right side in the night I have a really sharp, severe tearing pain across my belly. It last for quite a while, and takes my breath away with the pain of it. It's high up, in the section of bump that goes from belly button to ribs.

Has anyone had this? I didn't have it last time and it's worrying me.

DC2 is still moving fine. Bump seems much lower today though.

I get this - I did when I was pregnant, and still get it sometimes now. I am very overweight, and I think it's just the Blush volume of fat (or baby for someone pg) moving and pulling the skin and muscles. If you think about it, it can be around a stone of weight for a big baby, and you're moving it around just with the skin and muscles that don't normally carry weight like that.
That said, if you're concerned, ask your GP or midwife and make sure it isn't anything else.

I get this on my sides and across my hips. It feels more like my skin is going to rip cos i'm quite small and i think i'm harbouring a fairly big baby in there

Thanks - I phoned the MWs just to check and they agreed that it's probably just skin and muscles under strain with the weight.

Thanks very much :)
