make yourself some fruit smoothies.

Frozen fruit from the freezer section at the super market, and then yogurt and ice cubes in a blender. You can make some very lovely concoctions and it is a great way to get in loads of good vitamins and nutrients.

make sure you are having a pregnancy vitamin too.

Try getting your veg in sauces with pasta, or in home made soups.

You know you need to eat better, but you will do, you don't need us to tell you that!

Congratulations on your pregnancy.

Eat what you can face. For several months all I could face was cake, crisps and lemonade. Don't worry too much if you can't face anything healthy as long as you eat something.

The baby will take nutrients from your body's store so the crap will affect you as any goodness goes straight to the baby.

Have you had a GTT? I felt like that, had a GTT due to family history of diabetes and sure enough I had gestational diabetes. I never knew before that too much sugar was a very similar feeling to too little sugar (a bit dizzy, thirsty and craving more sugar). Just a thought.

Abit late in replying to this, been off the laptop for ages (unheard of for me haha)
I'm not really craving sugary things or eating an excessive amount, (sugary cereal in the morning, a penguin or some chocolate, crisps during the day) I have my omega 3 and pregnacare everyday, try to drink just over a litre of water a day, only have a caffeinated drink once a week (a couple in one go sometimes) but recently i just can't be bothered, i can't be bothered to think or cook anything healthy, i just get the nibbles and grab easy food (maybe its the fact i'm feeling down?) i fret everyday about how my little one is going to turn out, i have no idea why, but for some reason its all i do about this pregnancy, i am fearing a naughty difficult child lol. i'm a mess

FlissPaps, is that what really happens? thats quite clever when you think about it, and reassuring
