Did anyone have a very light period and then find out they were pg?

If so, was it non exsistant light or just 'normal' light (!)??
Did you keep feeling like you were about to get a visit from AF but she just never arrived properly??
What other symptoms did u get?

Hello Nixz. No experience of what you are atlking about, but saw your name and wondered if you over the cystitis now?

I had what i thought was a light period, for about 2 days, and it turned out to be an implantation bleed. So I was walking round telling all and sundry that these sore boobs couldn't mean I was pg, as it would have to be the imaculate conception and of course I was!

Hi there Lonelymum, yes symptoms of cystitus went lunchtime the next day. I had to do a pg test as the dr gave me some sachets which would relieve symptoms and i think it was like a salt soloution. Anyway, test was neg, infection cleared up and the lab results came back clear but im still v v tired, achey etc etc.
Had a spot bleed yesterday and day before but thats it, i have fertility problems so am too scared to do another test, i kind of want to revel in the 'maybe' moment for a bit!!!!!

Mandymac, did you have slight period pains aswell?

I had implantation bleeding for abot 2/3 days and the worst period pains ever...........now 24 weeks!

typical PMT like symptoms, so thought I wasn't PG. 3 days light brown bleeding and cramps.

Well ive had awful pmt for about 2 weeks, ive had cramps and also a very faint pink spotting for about 3 days, really tired, going to the loo loads more etc. Ive just done a 2nd pg test and it was negative. Ive been stood crying my eyes out in asda loo's - i just dont get it.
I dont know when or if i have ovulated though as i have endometriosis, pcos and one of my tubes are blocked. If i had a 28 day cycle i would have been due on 9 days ago. I think i knew logically that i wouldnt be pg but for the first time in 5 years i had a little butterfly feeling.

Yes, I had these symptoms too and two pg tests (which I did as an after-thought) showed negative. Tested again a week or more later and line was bright blue. Ds2 is now 2yo.

Did a test ( was negative) but then had a period later the same day - very light and short, it wasn't fresh , mostly brown - and about 2 weeks later did another test and was positive.

Yes this happened to me, normally have period for 7 days but had a period for only about 3 days which was light. was so busy thought nothing of it and it was only when the next period did not arrive did i twig doh!

AF has reared her ugly little head, never mind
