Baby monitors-Video/movement/sound

I know that some people will see this as unnecessary/over paranoid, but I'm keen to get an integrated video, movement/breathing and sound monitor.

Has anyone got one and can you advise on a good brand? I have friends with the Angel Care one, but they got it over a year ago and I know technology moves on. Would be grateful for advice from anyone who loves theirs, or equally if you have had problems. Obviously I want to avoid anything that gives loads of false alarms!

Hi there, I did some research on this, not bought one yet but Luvion Grand Elite has fantastic reviews... Pricey for the whole kit (I.e with sensor pads) but lots of people saying it's well worth the money... Have a look xx

I had a sensor monitor up until 9 months I then got a 2nd hand video monitor for £20. DS didn't move at night/when sleeping till 9 months when he started rolling around pre/during sleep so before then I didn't really need a video monitor. But, in those days you couldn't get a combined sensor/video one. They are so expensive though so 2nd time round I'd do what I did first time and get a new sensor one and, later on, a 2nd hand video one.

can fully recommend tomy td450 video monitor with separate angelcare movement monitor. worth every penny

Thanks for the advice, I'll look at separate video monitors as well as combined systems. Now on to cots and buggies!
