Hiya I'm 31 + 4 weeks & wondering when I should start expecting milk to develop?
My boobs don't feel any different & I'm worried I'm not going to produce milk!
When did you get yours?

Thank you Hayley x

Colostrum from birth; milk about 3 or 4 days after giving birth. Don't worry!

Your milk doesn't come in till anything up to 4-5 days post birth so I wouldn't worry!!!

I'm getting on for 38 weeks, and my breasts, while they've gone up three cup sizes over the course of the pregnancy, aren't looking or feeling any different. Certainly no hint of welling colostrum or anything.

Don't forget your milk won't come in until several days after the baby is born. You might not produce colostrum until after birth, it can be triggered by the removal of the placenta, if you aren't already producing some. You will produce tiny amounts of colostrum but your bany's tummy is tiny, it take about 5ml per feed. Think about the difference between double cream and normal milk.

Please don't worry, have confidence in your body, you'll be fine, you we designed to do this.

my boobs started to leak colostrum from about 32/33 weeks with DC1. After he was born my milk took about 4 days to come in.

With DC2 however, they did not leak any at all, not even a drop. I was starting to worry that there might be a problem but once she was born there was plenty colostrum and my milk came in good and strong after only 1 day!

Dont worry your body knows its stuff! :)
