Did you deliver nearer your lmp date or ultrasound date?

So according to my lmp, I'm due on March 2nd. According to ultrasound, I'm due March 17th? Wishful thinking or have I got two weeks to go? :)

Exactly in the middle of the two. But there were only 2 days difference though.

Last time I went 15 days over my LMP date, 16 days over my scan date.

This time LMP says 14 April, scan said 4 April.

Lmp (although first one after stopping pill!!!) was 30/11 scan 26/11, Lo was born.on 29/11 :)

Scan 19th feb

Watching (and bumping) this as watching with interest! My lmp is 28/2 and scan is 15/3, so have quite an interest in seeing the consensus here!

Ultra Scan was 5th September

Gave birth 2nd September.

I didn't calculate an LMP date as they're just a rough guide. I calculated from when I ovulated. The ultrasound is done precisely because the LMP is so inaccurate. You can have a woman with a 35 day cycle who ovulates on day 25 and a woman with a 25 day cycle who ovulates on day 10 and them both have the same lmp. The first woman would conceive a whole 2 weeks later than the second but their due date from lmp would be identical. Chuck in the fact that a normal pregnancy lasts for between 37 and 42 weeks and there's little point guessing at all when you'll give birth short of planning a cs or being induced.

The dc were born at 38 weeks and 37 weeks if that helps.

My lmp fit exactly with the last time we dtd that month (I remember clearly - it was getting tiring doing it so much!)

Ooh flisspaps, my LMP is 14/04, but my scan said 19/04 ! Very exciting and my birthday is 11/04 so the former would be nice.
