dear all, iv been completely exhausted at all times since I had bfp I'm now nearly 12wk, my job involves a fair amount of clinical cleaning but recently it seems to be all cleaning so today I was just getting ready to go home and my colleague asks me to do another full day of heavy cleaning and i just burst into tears.its all sorted now but I'm so embarrassed that I was so unprofessional

I've lost count of the times I've cried at work because of stupid hormones. Don't worry about it!

I once burst into tears because it was raining!

I cried for about an hour at my desk in the morning before my first scan. I had tried to pull myself together in the loos but it hadn't worked so sat there with tears rolling down my face! Only a couple of people noticed Blush

I got hysterical with my boss when I was pg with DD1 all because my DH didn't answer his phone. So bad that they sent me home to sort myself out!

All employers are supposed to offer you a workplace assessment to see if any adjustments need to be made to your work in light of the fact that you're pregnant. Have you had this yet? If not, ask for it. It may be that the decide that heavy cleaning is not appropriate. It could also be the case that some of the chemicals are ones which you shouldn't have regular exposure to once you're pregnant.

Hope that helps! FWIW, you should begin to feel better in the next week or so anyway and get some more energy. I struggled with being sat at a desk when I was 12w as I was so tired so I'm not surprised you're crying!

thanks murlette reason I didn't ask for the

work place risk assessment already is that that I really didnt want to let anyone know b4 12wks and I'm confident that all other aspects of my work are safe but i agree no more heavy cleaning x
