Just that...
Seems absurd but have been feeling nauseous for three days now for no reason.
Other than one unprotected 'incident' a couple of weeks ago.
Is there any chance its what I'm pretending it might not be?

Morning sickness at 14 days after sex? Am I bonkers?
Or just getting food poisoning?!?

I got morning sickness from about 4 and half weeks pregnant! I'm now 8 weeks and really fed up of this.

MissPenteuth · 29/02/2012 16:36

Nausea a few evenings in a row was my first sign that I was pregnant this time. That was about 12 days after sex. Took a week or so before I got a BFP though. Probably too early for actual ms (it stopped and then "proper" ms started at about 5w pg), must have been hormones though, I guess.

chevytruck · 29/02/2012 16:38

But 4 1/2 weeks pregnant seems a LONG way off (if that's even what this is!)

Its literally only been 14 days since bonk-night.
I have two DC's (3 and 20 months) so you'd think I would recognise morning sickness but this just seems absurd.

Surely I've just eaten something dodgy??

Well, pregnancy is dated from the first day of your last period, so technically you're already 2w pg before you even conceive. Which would put you at roughly 3-4w now.

I had other symptoms; spotting (implantation bleeding), tugging sensations in my abdomen, and moody/tearfullness. I'd recommend taking a test, and again in a week if it's negative and you're still worried.

Flisspaps · 29/02/2012 16:49

The day I was due on, so 4w - as MissP says, you're technically 2w pregnant before you conceive!

I woke up at 2am feeling horrendously sick so went and POAS.

chevytruck · 29/02/2012 16:49

I've had bleeding.
But short (very red) for one day and then tailed off to nothing (dark brownish - tmi; sorry) and so thought it was a period.
(Haven't had a real period since 2008 due to mini-pill which stopped recently due to depression type symptoms).

But then my acupuncturist last night said I was showing strange symptoms and asked if I might be pg. At which point I said I'd been feeling sick for a few days and... 2+2=5!

With DS2 and DD I started feeling sick a week/week and a half before my period was due. With DS2 I managed to convince myself that it was just 'something I ate' right until my Dentist asked me if there was a chance I could be pregnant... I wonder how many patients actually do mumble 'Maybe...' and have to reschedule for after they've taken the test Blush

oh god, oh god, oh god...

Week 6/7

Goldrill · 29/02/2012 20:21

about 4 days before period due. It's a damn sight worse than last time too, which seems rather unfair!

hermionestranger · 29/02/2012 20:26

No nausea or morning sickness for me 2nd time round but I knew I was pregnant immediately. I did the clearblue digital test thing and it said 1-2 weeks, so I knew straight away. I had the taste and boob thing going on.

AKMD · 29/02/2012 20:29

I would get a test and make sure either way. You are just going to worry otherwise.

FWIW I'm 6 weeks with DC2 after one night of getting a bit carried away Blush and while I'm not thrilled I am slowly getting used to it. I have been feeling nauseous for a few weeks but brushed it off until I got the BFP last week.

chevytruck · 01/03/2012 15:33

No nausea today. Think I must have imagined it. :)

I knew I was pregnant this time pretty much immediately but almost certain by about 4 DPO. Was tired, low level nausea the works. Some say this is impossible but I know from being knocked up so many times that if you are in tune with your body you can spot it really early on.

MissPenteuth · 01/03/2012 18:29

Mine stopped too chevy. Came back about a week after my BFP though. I also had bright red spotting one day (after the few evenings of nausea) which tailed off the next day. POAS the following day and got a BFN, but got BFP about 6 days later.

Not trying to worry you; just sayin' :)

Alligatorpie · 02/03/2012 04:58

I was starving and had really sore breasts at 3 weeks. I knew then!

chevytruck · 12/03/2012 21:27

Negative! I did imagine it. Thankfully!
