Had my dating scan today and am 11+2. My DD was born 5lb7oz at 38 weeks and the midwife has told me I have to be consultant led.
Furthermore, during the scan, they found a 'large cyst' on my left ovary and said due to that I'd also have to be consultant led.
I'm not overly concerned but of course my mum and friends are all asking what this could mean and I don't really know! Does anyone know what happens under consultant led care for these two issues?
What if the cyst grows, is it dangerous to the baby?
Will I have growth scans to check I'm not having another low birth weight baby? Aren't growth scans notoriously unreliable anyway?
