My eyes are killing! Apparently this is a common symptom of pregnancy???? Who knew!

Anyone else got this?
It's driving me mad. I'm going to have to get some artificial tears at the chemists sometime this week.

Really sympathising with you on this. I get this anyway when not pg, and am glad it hasn't got any worse when pg!

Hypromellose (artificial tears) are great, but if you ever need anything more heavy duty, try Lacrilube. It has the texture of an ointment, so can be a bit greasy (not great with make-up), but it is fantastic if your eyes get really bad at night (one of my eyes gets stuck shut and very painful to open, and this helps).

I love the optrex dry eye spray, am not pg but work in air con office. I get mine off eBay much cheaper

God it's dreadful! i had laser surgery a few years ago, this is approaching how i felt during that recovery period. i needed these special non-preservative drops that time around, so i assume that's what would be best this time.

the things they don't tell you in pregnancy books!

Actimist is brilliant. I have dry eyes and get Lacrilube on prescription, but I find Actimist is even better.
