Hi there, I am 10 weeks pregnant with my first baby, I finally feel like I'm coming through the other side of morning sickness and I want to do some gentle exercise.
I can't afford to go to yoga classes, so just wanted to know if anyone could recommend any pregnancy yoga DVDs?
Thank you x

Congratulations on your pregnancy.

I used Buddha Bellies throughout my pregnancies. Would recommend it, found it very helpful.

Thanks I'll have a look into that one, at what week did you start?
Not sure if I have to wait until after the first trimester?

My yoga teacher says there's some really good videos on YouTube.
And apparently Sportsdirect sell the balls and pump for £6, going to get one today!

I've been using Tara Lee's "Pregnancy Health Yoga" since around 12 weeks (38w now), as I couldn't afford to fork out for regular classes!
I love it, have found it really helpful with alleviating aches and pains, and giving ideas for positions to use during contractions, etc.
I would suggest taking it slow and not pushing yourself into some of the tougher positions tho.

Thanks ladies, I'll take a look at those options too.
Think I'm going to wait until I have had my 12 week scan before doing any exercise, which is less than 2 weeks away now :)
