Hello everyone - I'm just not sure if this is totally normal or whether it's something I can actually do something about. I don't remember this from my first pregnancy.

When I wake up in the morning I am fine (well, as fine as can be at this point!) and my bump feels heavy but not painful. Throughout the day just sitting or standing gets harder and harder until by about 4pm I am in real, real discomfort. It's not back pain it like a tight, pulling, constant ache over my bump - like it's being stretched out. I feel like I want to put my hands underneath it and kind of 'hoik' it up iykwim, to try and stop the straining pressure. The only thing I can do is lie horizontal until the pain subsides.
At the moment I think the baby is either breech or transverse - would this be creating the pressure? Could it just be my ligaments stretching further??? it feels wrong for it to be SO painful but maybe I have just forgotten this part!
ANy advice or similar experience out there?

Thanks!

See the midwife and maybe ask to see a physio. Maternity support belt might help take the strain.
