Please remind me, when do you contact the MW when newly pregnant?

Hi, I am very newly pregnant, BFP last tues, I am now 4+3.

I really can't remember when I contacted the MW last time !

You can contact them whenever you like - mine wont meet with ladies (for booking in) until they are at least 8wks though.

Last time I had to see my gp first who them asked me to book in with the mw at reception. The time, I needed to speak to my gp about some medication I was taking so I just asked for a phone appointment. He said I didnt need to see him but it boom straight in with the mw. I'd phone your surgery and ask.

I rang at about 6w this time round, about 5w first time.

Phoned the maternity unit direct to book in for this one though as found it was a waste of time going to see the GP to fill in a form to send off to the MW in order to make an appointment last time!
