does anyone have any experience/knowledge of the effects of 2 rather than 3 vessels in umbilical cord?

I went for my 20wk anomoly scan today and the radiographer seemed rather perturbed to find that the umbilical cord only had one vein and one artery, rather than the usual one vein/two arteries. She said it was linked to fetal heart problems but couldn't give me any specifics on risk factors etc. She said everything seemed 'normal' and to try not to worry but of course I am. I have another appointment with a specialist next week so I guess I'll learn more then but wondered if any MNetters had any experience of this?

TIA
