Hi. Recently had a gtt test as a urine sample showed a very high level of sugar. I thought it was probably down to a high sugar breakfast I had before giving the urine sample but doctors rang today to say the first blood result after the fasting was exceptionally high but the other two blood tests after the lucozade were normal? I did def fast by the way! The doctor said the results were so odd that the hospital would have to ring me to discuss course of action. I'm worried now. Any idea what this means? She asked if I was over weight which i'm not and I said that actually baby was measuring about 3 weeks behind to which she replied that will be another reason for them doing the test. . . Anyone shed any light? Do I have gd or not? Or something else?!x

I wouldn't panic, its possible the blood results were mixed up. I think chances are they will repeat the test, although I'm no expert. Hopefully someone with more knowledge will be along soon
