Stem Cell Storage?

I cannot answer your question but I would really like to know the answer myself. A simple google search has unearthed a wealth of info but I need to hear from real people that have done it.

Yeah me too, I have loads of info just wanted to hear peoples experiance.

I was going to do it (my Dad has parkinsons,and thought he might benefit from the stem cells )But at the last minute my father decided against it so I didn't pursue it any further. Mainly it seems to be done in case the child later has an illness that would benefit from the cells,and after reading all the stuff I was tempted for that reason too,but the logistics were very tricky and there is a school of thought that cord blood is very important for the newborn,and it should be allowed to drain into the baby.It was seven years ago though,so maybe it is easier to organise now?
