Proper swimming costume with boob support

I'd like to get a proper swimming costume for this pregnancy. My boobs are quite big so I need two straps, not a halter neck, and some proper boob support.

I tried on everything in jojo maman bebe but none of them did the job (well, there was one but it was red and white stripy which isn't a good look for me!)

I'd like something proper rather than for fashion. Any tips before I start trawling the Internet again?

There are bra sized swimsuits in Bravissimo that may be suitable although they are not specifically maternity. Tankinis with a tie side bottom are also good as you can adjust over time.

when i was in matalan last week they had 3-4 maternity swimmin cossies. Can't remember if they were halter neck or not so have a quick looksie on the website

Do you have a decathlon store near you. They have good ones with adjustable straps (crossed) and inside there is top half support (elastic). I have found mine excellent. At 28 weeks with huge boobs now I still get good support.

ok - thanks for the tips. I will get on their websites and have a look.

Next have a plain black one for £20. It crosses over at the back and has a bra 'shelf'. Out of all the ones I've tried this was by far the best. Im a 34 e and find it really comfortable, Pre pregnancy I have a panache tankini with bra support but couldn't find anything similar in maternity or they were really expensive.

sandychick really like the next ones, much nicer than others I have seen - did you try on the one with the white band over the tummy?

Was it navy with a white band? I bought mine about 4 months ago. I ordered every costume they had at the time. There was a black and white stripe one too. Out of all the plain black was by far the best/most flattering.

yep, navy with a white band and light blue swoosh. maybe i'll just order a couple and see which fits best. are the sizes as you would expect?

Yes I tried that one. I preferred the black as it was a bit more flattering than the navy.

Just had a look on the next website. It was the black and cream stripe one I tried too- it was hideous. It had a foam bra support which give a funny shape. I've had a costume like this before and when the padding gets wet it sags Blush. They seem to have a lot more choice in now that it's getting towards summer.

Size wise I found my normal pre pregnancy size ok.
