Ok so I know that if you're a member you get in early, but if I want to take my mum, who's not a member, can she get in early with me? (or could she take my husband's card who won't be coming)?

I'd let you both in, but I imagine it is at branch discretion.

Joygirl78 · 21/02/2012 20:09

I'm sure if you have a card it's fine. If not they are being very petty!!

nancerama · 21/02/2012 20:18

Why don't you both volunteer to help? To run an NCT sale, they need around 40 people to help set up, sell and break down at the end.

She wouldn't be let in at mine. Rules is rules and it's not fair to those who have queued up who are not members. However, we let people buying online in with the members. It's easier for us on the day to process if people have printed their own ticket so we let them in too.

Or volunteer. Putting up posters or answering email enquiries are all easy things. Or offer to post the event on parenting forums and event sites. Nice and easy and can be done at home in the dry with a cup of tea :)

My local sale is huge! Even at the end there was still lots of good stuff left including buggies and bigger items too. But it is probably the best NCT sale I've been to. And I've been to a few.

At our local ones they let pregnant ladies in ahead of the queue (I didn't know this with my first pregnancy but will making full use of the perk this time round! Smile)

Check with your local branch via the website- our entry is for a member with a plus one so your mum would be fine!!
