I am 38 weeks with number 2 and in last couple of days have had shooting pains in my bum when walking. Baby has also been burrowing down and have felt a lot of pressure down below.

Today I can hardly walk it is really uncomfortable on lower back , bum area, front area. I am walking at a snails pace and in bit of pain. Didn't have this with ds1 I walked for more that an hour a few hours before going into labour with him.

Does this mean end is near or could I have 3 more weeks of this? Ds1 was one week late.

I'm no professional but I've had the same and it's sciatica. Get it in my left bum cheek and makes my leg give way when I stand up, much to the amusement of everyone in my office!
Mines not bad enough to go to the docs but paracetamol and acupuncture can help with the pain.
