My family all know and are pleased for us, as are some friends I have told. We also told the dc's last week and they are all excited.

However, dh is putting off telling his parents. Understandably as when we announced dc number 4 they told us we were mad so he knows what is coming, no congratulations that's for sure!

As his parents don't know I haven't been able to make an official announcement to everyone and its doing my nut in now. I will be halfway through very soon and I want to shout it from the rooftops!

I didn't tell anyone except family and my best friend until 18 weeks as I was nervous of things going wrong, & was scared of telling work - although most people had already guessed! It's up to you when u announce it, but ur hubby won't be able to keep it a secret too much longer ul be showing soon Smile

Well the children know now and my dd goes back to school tomorrow and is looking forward to telling everyone. Dh's Mum works at the school, I think secretly its the way he would prefer??!

In a way it has meant that I am already halfway so telling everyone this late is quite nice. I usually tell people really early.

We're the same, now at 17 weeks and just starting to tell close friends and family. We held out initially cause we wanted to wait til after ds first birthday but now it's almost as if it is too late, I almost don't want say anything and wait for people to say "are you fat or pregnant?"! Still trying to work out how I'll tell my boss, still not gone back from ml although am now on al til mid April!!!

I told work today and most of our friends last weekend. We've just had our 20 week scan. I quite enjoyed keeping it a lovely secret between me, DH and our parents.

We didn't tell anyone about no 4 due in May till 20 + weeks. Friends still finding out by word of mouth. It was fine, and makes it shorter for everyone else! I loved telling no one and was almost sad when the secret broke out. I felt like we had our own little excitement and when everyone knew I was almost sad!
